The shop uses a chemical weekly to clean their bays. There are six of them and they use a 100lb tub per month. The product is called Pineco Concrete Power Powdered Concrete Cleaner. The ingredients are Sodium Metasilicate, Sodium Cloride, Sodium Carbinate, Ethoxylated Nonylphenol, 2-Butoxyethanol. I need to know the effect this product will have to our separator system. Specifically if it can be used at all and if there is any kind of limit to the amount that can be used in a given time frame. My cell phone number is 301-758-0884 if you need more information or have any questions you think I can help with.
On a side note, the system seems to be working properly after the last report was entered that resulted in two of the tanks being pumped out. The only observation I have for it now is that the oil seems a bit too "sticky". It clings to the inside of the Sludge Judge in a way that didn't seem to happen at my last site, Petro #329.
